Student Learning Achieves New Level
Approximately 50 DODEA high school students interested in research recently had the opportunity to travel from Germany to the University of Luxembourg (Universite du Luxumbourg), a public research university. The students participated in hands-on labs and performed analysis alongside PhD professors in molecular biology, molecular engineering, bio-medicine, and physics. These students worked with E. coli, electrophoresis, spectroscopy, and bioformatics.
The high school students spent three days at the University of Luxembourg performing labs and analysis of E. coli DNA.
