Ludwigsburg Palace and The Fairy Tale Garden.
Emichsburg Castle. A ruined castle perches on the edge of a craggy rock in the lower East Garden and near the peaceful lake. This castle is part of the Fairy Tale Garden well known as the “Rapunzel Tower.” For the young and young at heart, the fantastic gardens tell of more than 30 fairy tale scenes and folk tales from Germany. It’s a great place to wander around the beautifully kept gardens.
The castle pays homage to the knight Ritter Emich, the legendary ancestor of the Wurttemberg duchy from the 12th century.
